Introduction

The COVID-19 lockdown has been very challenging for all of us especially those who had been very keen on exercise, playing games, and hitting the gym.

Now that the new lockdown norms allow us to use the clubhouse areas, I’ll be starting adult as well as kids batches for physical exercises, while respecting the social distancing norms. 

For the adults (also children >15 years can join)

  1. The clubhouse will be used for the exercises.
  2. Each batch will have a maximum of 6 adults, both men, and women.  Depending on the interest level I might start women-only batch.
  3. All exercises will be on the exercise/yoga mat on the floor and body-based.
  4. Most emphasis will be given to a postural correction, stability, core strength, and flexibility.  There will be few classes conducted for mind-body relaxation and breathing exercises.  I’ll also be teaching the usage of foam rollers/other recovery equipment.
  5. All the participating members will benefit from advice on nutrition and overall wellness, stress management techniques through online sessions (to begin with once a week)
  6. Timing: will be decided based on the quorum.  I’m planning to start one in the morning and one in the evening.
  7. The batch will commence with 3-4 members joining, as early as tomorrow.
  8. Session duration: 1 hr
  9. Fees: Rs. 450/- per session, bought in a block of 4 sessions

Optional: Signup for online health & fitness assessment, weight management sessions.

For the children 8 to 15 years

  1. The clubhouse will be used for the exercises.
  2. Each batch will have a maximum of 6 children (mixed batch).  I’ll make the group age-appropriate based on the number of children.
  3. All exercises will be on the exercise/yoga mat on the floor and body-based
  4. Most emphasis will be given to building their oval fitness through games and exercises to focus on their stability, core strength, and flexibility.  There will be few classes conducted for mind-body relaxation and breathing exercises.  
  5. The sessions will also teach them sportsmanship, anecdotes sharing, and also teaching them how to deal with the new norm of learning through technology.
  6. Timing: will be decided based on the quorum.  I’m planning to start one in the morning and one in the evening.
  7. The batch will commence with 3-4 children joining, as early as tomorrow.
  8. Session duration: 1 hr
  9. Fees: Rs. 2500/- per month for 3 classes a week (total 12 sessions a month)
