I’m proud to be associated with the team dedicatedly running the Kanyakumari District Athletics Association (KKDAA) and organizing the Kanyakumari Marathon.
This event was started with an original idea to build a sporting culture, nurture talents and also encourage many people to be active and also participate in a marathon event. In 2018, the #KKDAA was generous in giving away Rs. 5,00,000 worth of prizes for the winners across the 21k, 10k & 5k during the past edition.
I’m excited that all of us from the KKDAA & Kanyakumari Marathon team will be driving and elevating this event to its next level and also attract many more runners from across India and abroad to experience the uniqueness of Kanyakumari.
There are several tourist attractions in Kanyakumari. The town is home to beautiful temples, religious monuments, and traditional and cultural sites. Some of the temples date back to ancient times and are famous for their architecture.
The 4th edition of the Kanyakumari Marathon is scheduled on the 28-Dec-2019, Saturday.
If you are a half marathoner, run between Kanyakumari and Nagercoil through the scenic village roads. The 10k & and 5k races will start and end in Nagercoil.
