I was extremely privileged to be the Race Director for the Alertathon’18 this year. The awareness cum fundraising event had over 1000+ registration and I was very fortunate to work with the most passionate and able ALERT office bearers. Organizing and coordinating from Bangalore had added to the complexities. My personal touch combined with an extremely passionate team which supported me certainly worked. We were very fortunate. The event was a grand success. I had decided to share my most beautiful journey through this self-edited video.

My sincere appreciations and thanks to Kala Balasundaram & Rajesh R Trivedi for their drive and passion in making ALERT NGO a future looking organization and the mission that they have taken up are extremely important for each an every one of us.

When I received a call to be the RD for this event, I instantly said a “yes” since the cause of saving lives has a deep connection with my own campaign “Be Safe! Be there to Save!”

This event wouldn’t have been a grand success but for all the Alert volunteers & #AVA‘s (Alert VoICE Ambassadors). I’ve made many new friends sharing similar thoughts and this aspect was the most beautiful one.

I encourage all of you connected within my network to approach ALERTand get trained on First-Aid immediately. Do not forget to talk about the importance of saving lives within your community where you have a voice. Become an Alert VoICE Ambassador today if you have that passion and drive to bring in a positive difference.
